Gorgeous vintage Chloe ensemble from Spring/Summer 1993, the collection when Karl Lagerfeld returned to his position there, cementing the free-spirited, femme vibe that Chloe is beloved for. This incredible set is shown here documented on the runway, and consists of a slip style dress and duster jacket, both pieces made of semi-sheer rayon crepe. The dress is a slightly more sheer, slightly lighter weight, trimmed and strapped in the most beautiful embroidered/crocheted Venise lace trimmings. Slightly fitted upper with a flared maxi skirt bottom, zipper closure at back side. The jacket, a slightly more dense, but still semi-sheer rayon, has a draping, oversized lapel and the same, matching trimmings to the dress. The oversized sleeves each have a top line of adjustable gathered ruching via thin black satin ribbon ties. No closures, open front. A carefree, relaxed, oversized silhouette that will look great layered over many different outfits - maximizing this set's wearability. This set is as rare as it is stunning!

Condition: Excellent overall condition. The dress is in overall excellent condition, but does have a visible professional mend at the right bust (see in photos). This is unfortunate due to the sheer nature of the dress, however, when worn with a black slip/bra/cami underneath is it significantly less noticeable, and appears much worse against the white mannequin/and in the photos. The duster has two visible professional mends of the same nature, at the upper right back. Priced accordingly.
