1. Tilt the outboard motor to its full upward position to expose the hydraulic ram.
2. Slide the wedge support securely over the single hydraulic tilt ram shaft. The notched interior is designed to grip the shaft.
3. Slowly lower the motor until it applies firm pressure onto the wedge.
