medi protect.Pro Action - Dynamic Clinical Back Support
The medi protect.Pro Action is a high-performance clinical orthosis engineered for users who require significant lumbar stabilization without sacrificing mobility. Designed for the "active" patient, this brace utilizes a proprietary Pro-Action strap system to provide high-level intra-abdominal pressure, effectively offloading the L1-L5 vertebrae during physical exertion, sports, or manual labor.
Nationwide Shipping & Regional Expertise
Medical Department Store is a certified medi provider, offering rapid nationwide shipping. Our clinical teams across Southwest Florida—including our Sarasota, Naples, and Fort Myers showrooms—vet every support to ensure it meets the breathability standards required for active recovery in warm, humid coastal climates.
Key Features & Benefits
- Pro-Action Tension System: Specialized dual-pull straps allow for an adjustable, high-tension fit that can be tightened during activity and loosened during rest.
- Paraspinal Stabilization Stays: Four integrated flexible stays provide vertical integrity, preventing the brace from bunching while encouraging a neutral spinal posture.
- Moisture-Wicking Medical Elastic: Advanced breathable materials facilitate airflow, a critical feature for managing heat during outdoor activities in the Southwest Florida humidity.
- Anatomical Tapered Cut: Specifically designed to follow the body’s contours, providing a "Zero-Friction" fit that remains comfortable while bending, lifting, or twisting.
Clinical Authority: High-Activity Load Management
The protect.Pro Action is clinically indicated for acute lumbar strain, chronic postural deconditioning, and sciatica. By increasing circumferential compression, the brace creates a mechanical "jacket" around the core, unweighting the intervertebral discs and SI joints. This stabilization is essential for preventing the micro-movements that lead to acute spasms during athletic or industrial tasks.
Top Industry Applications
- Athletics & Fitness: Provides the structural support needed for golfing, tennis, and gym routines in the Sarasota and Naples communities.
- Industrial & Manual Labor: Ideal for contractors and logistics professionals in Port Charlotte and Fort Myers who require heavy-duty stabilization.
- Healthcare Professionals: Offers dynamic support for nurses and technicians who are constantly on the move and performing patient transfers.
