The Mo layering vest

The ‘Mo’ scoop hem vest is the sister of our Lyla strap vest. It sits at hip level and is the perfect short vest top with wider fixed straps. As always, our jersey come from the best mills in the world and will last a lifetime when looked after correctly. 

She is the perfect piece for every layering outfit where you want a smooth layer that stops at your hips. Unlike the Lyla which is a narrow, straight cut, Mo falls from the bust, skimming over tummies. You can layer so many pieces on top from sheer dresses and tunics to shirts & knitwear. 

This is a revamped version of one of our older styles.

How to wear:

It is designed to be worn with any of our skirts, leggings, trousers.

  • Sits high up under the arm - providing good coverage around the skin at the front of the arm/chest and bra strap
  • Falls gently from the bust - is not skin tight

About the fabric

We pride ourselves on the quality of our viscose jersey fabric which is second to none! It has an amazing return which means that it holds it's shape over time. 

Fabric content: 92% Viscose 8% elastane

Care instructions :
Cool wash keeping colours separate.
Drip dry. Steaming preferred to ironing which can shine your jerseys.
Do not tumble dry, do not bleach.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
