To squeeze excess water out of the mop, use the mop's handle to apply pressure down into the handle within the bucket's wringer - the mop spins in the wringer releasing both dirty water and dirt out. With the help of the spin-stop function in the handle, it is possible to easily determine how damp the mop needs to be to suit the care demands of the floor.
