Our humanely raised chickens, certified to the Global Animal Partnership (G.A.P.) Step 2 Standard, are raised on family farms with gentle handling, space, and the ability to engage in their natural behaviors. Chicken is a great source of protein and healthy fats.
G.A.P. Step 2 Chicken Meal
Our chicken meal is certified to the Global Animal Partnership (G.A.P.) Step 2 Standard. The chickens are raised on family farms with gentle handling, space, and the ability to engage in their natural behaviors. Our chicken meal is directly derived from chickens hatched, harvested, and raised without antibiotics in the USA. Additionally, the chickens are not disabled or diseased, and our chicken meal does not contain any beaks, feathers, or by-products. Chicken meal is a great sourced of concentrated protein and nutrition.
Potatoes
Potatoes are a good source of dietary fiber and packed with vitamin B3, B6, C and A, and minerals like potassium, iron, copper, phosphorus, thiamin, and manganese.
Sweet Potatoes
Sweet potatoes are a source of complex carbohydrates as well as potassium, vitamin A, vitamin C and manganese. It is also a source of fiber and beta-carotene which helps support digestive health.
Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is not only an excellent palatant, but it is packed full of health benefits. Coconut oil is high in lauric acid; which is antiviral, anti-fungal, antibacterial and helps to balance the immune system. Coconut oil is an excellent source of energy, easy to digest, and excellent for bone health and metabolic function.
Wild-Caught Pacific Salmon
Wild-Caught from the deep cold waters in the North Pacific Ocean, our Oceanwise recommended Salmon is high in quality protein and contains long-chain omega-3 fatty acids like EPA and DHA.
G.A.P. Step 1 Turkey
Our humanely raised turkeys, certified to the Global Animal Partnership (G.A.P.) Step 1 Standard are raised on family farms with gentle handling, space, and the ability to engage in their natural behaviors. Our turkeys are fed a healthy vegetarian diet without antibiotics. Turkey is a great source of protein and healthy fats.
Flaxseed
Our non-GMO flaxseed is recognized for containing high levels of alpha-linolenic acid (an omega-3 fatty acid) and is used in our products to help balance the dietary omega-6 to omega-3 fatty acid ratio required for a healthy skin and coat. Flaxseed also supplies both insoluble and soluble fiber which are known to aid in proper digestion and help to maintain a healthy stool consistency.
Pumpkin
Pumpkin is a good source of fiber and beta-carotene. Fiber is helpful for digestive health.
Ocean Whitefish Meal
Our whitefish is always sustainable ocean-caught and never farmed. Whitefish is a great source of quality protein and omega-3 fatty acids.
Carrots
Carrots are an excellent source of beta-carotene and contain high levels of vitamins that provide protection against free radicals which may damage cells.
Natural Flavour
A natural ingredient from non-GMO yeast cultures.
Apples
Apples are a known to be a good source of potassium, vitamin C and fiber, and are a great source of flavor.
Salt
Sodium and chloride help maintain the balance between fluids inside and outside individual cells of the body. Sodium aids in the transfer of nutrients to cells and the removal of waste products and chloride helps maintain the proper acid/alkali balance in the body as well as the digestion of protein. It is required to maintain optimal health in pets.
