This collection represents a truly unique offering, sourced directly from the personal archives of a former CEO of Parker Waterman USA. As such, it presents an extraordinary opportunity to acquire writing instruments with significant historical and developmental value. Notably, the collection includes several prototype pens, providing a rare glimpse into the innovative design processes and experimental craftsmanship inherent in the creation of these iconic brands. These prototypes, all confirmed to be in working order, offer a fascinating perspective on the evolution of pen technology and aesthetics, making this a highly desirable acquisition for discerning collectors and enthusiastsThe Parker Duofold International introduced in 1989, this pen has the Presidential seal on the finial. The Duofold International served as the official writing instrument during President George H. W. Bush's administration and the initial period of President Clinton's first term, preceding A.T. Cross becoming the supplier to the White House. This particular pen may have been a prototype, or new old stock that was never shipped to the White House.

Thorough history
Format: Hardcover
Levy provides a masterful history of American capitalism. His work is detailed and brilliantly written.
You should buy this book for its last section: the age of chaos. Here Levy details the US economy since Reagan and identifies critical trends and questions we all need to address.
This is not a book for a casual reader, each chapter is hard work. However, the rewards more than outweigh the effort.
