Fastener specialists: use to protect bolted joints on steel sections and girders. Avoid the need to re-plate a bolt or stud, spray ZG-90 on exposed bolts and threaded bar to match existing zinc plating or galvanised coating.

General fabrication: use on bare, degreased metal to provide an effective finish with good long-term protection.

Facility Maintenance: use for repairing and maintaining fences, metal sheets, air conditioning units and ducting.

Electrical and mechanical contractors: spray ZG-90 on cut ends of Unistrut type channelling and cable conduit.

Directions for use

• Use in well ventilated area.
• Remove any rust and scale with a wire brush. Ensure that the surface to be coated is clean, dry and free from grease.
• ZG-90 contains solids which settle during storage. Aerosol: shake the can vigorously until the agitator ball is free and continue shaking for a further minute. Tin: Carefully stir the paint until solvent and solids are thoroughly mixed.
• Shake/stir periodically during application.
• Apply in light, even coats - best results are obtained with 2 - 3 light coats rather than one heavy coat.
• Additional coats can be applied after 15 - 20 minutes.
• When finished: clear the aerosol valve by briefly spraying the can upside down. When using the tin, firmly reseal it. Clean brushes with White Spirit.
• Do not use on the inside of water storage tanks.
• Remove prior to welding.
