14K Gold Intertwining Snake and Carved Labradorite Skull Pendant

In 14k gold, an intertwining, well-articulated snake curves and clings its way around a carved labradorite skull. The top of the snake’s head is embedded with micro pave diamonds and an antique finish, offset with two ruby eyes. The snake’s detail is so great that you can even see the flare of its nostrils. The diamonds add a sparkle, but the labradorite skull is what really packs an iridescent punch with its green and blue hues. Because the labradorite is known to activate the third eye chakra, it is associated with intuition, psychic abilities, and spiritual insight, as well as an aid in accessing a higher level of consciousness. This carved labradorite is the perfect stone if you are trying to connect to the spirit realm. The back of the pendant’s setting has a simple matrix of gold, which looks like a cryptic language in and of itself. The one-of-a-kind piece is striking and edgy, and makes a powerful totem. We worked with one of our favorite jewelers, who was integral in the design of the piece. 

The pendant measures 7/8” x 1 3/8” (not including the additional 6 x 9 mm bail). It is 1/2” at its thickest point (where the skull is encased in the gold snake) and 1/4” at its narrowest point. It weighs 19.2 grams. The piece is marked on the bail as 14k gold.
