The tangerine colour of the sweater refers to the harsh climate of the mountainous areas of New Zealand covered with tangerine-brown grass – Merino sheep’s favourite. The Supreme pullover weave also correlates with the climate. It resembles grass intertwined with ears of grain – a view so typical at the foot of New Zealand mountains.
