* New! Snuggly wool throw woven in a beautiful pattern inspired by the Swedish island of Skaftölandet.

This truly gorgeous 100% wool blanket is made in Sweden by Öjbro Vantfabrik and dyed in subtle natural colours. It’s made from wool sourced from a special sheep breed that crosses Merino with Perendale, creating a thicker, more durable wool while retaining the softness of Merino.

Suitable for all seasons, this versatile throw works beautifully for everyday family use. Ideal for the couch, cosy evenings at home, or as an extra layer on the bed.

A classic wool blanket with decorative fringes, Öjbro’s wool blankets are thick and compact in structure, woven in multiple layers for warmth and durability. The warp is concealed by the patterned weft, which also forms the fringes at each end.

Woven on jacquard looms, the pattern appears clearly on both sides, with the reverse forming a mirror image of the front. Excluding the fringes, the blanket measures almost exactly two metres in length, resulting in a firm yet soft wool throw with a beautifully balanced feel.

Öjbro Vantfabrik is dedicated to preserving and sharing Swedish knitting heritage. The Skaftö design is inspired by the fisherpeople on the Swedish island of Skaftölandet. This design is also available in a small blanket 90x130cmhandwarmers, and socks. See below to read the Skaftö story.

Colours: Skaftö Snow, Skaftö Soot

Size:  200 x 130cm

Brand: Öjbro Vantfabrik

Machine Washable: Yes (see our guide to washing wool)

Care: Handwash using a gentle wool shampoo recommended for best results. To machine wash, choose a cold wool cycle, skipping the spin cycle. Dry flat on a towel, gently reshaping while wet. Do not tumble dry. Wool feels comfortable and dry, even when you sweat. It can absorb a lot of moisture (up to 33% of its dry weight). Air between uses, wash only when required.

The story of the Skaftö pattern: Skaftölandet is an island located on the coast of Bohuslän, which is colloquially referred to simply as Skaftö. Designer Åse Öjbro, founder of Öjbro Vantfabrik, celebrates the charm of the Skaftö communities and the fisherpeople who live there. With this design, she is inspired by the colours and shapes of Bohuslän fishing shirts.

The largest communities on the island of Skaftö are Grundsund, Rågårdsvik and Fiskebäckskil. During the herring period in the 1700s, Grundsund developed into a significant fishing and shipping community. During World War I, a canal was dug dividing the community into two parts, the East and west sides. The canal facilitated the passage of fishing boats and sailing ships, and created a safer harbour for the community's fisherpeople and sailors.

A famous Skaftö resident was Carl Wilhelm Wilhelmson, an artist born in 1866 in Fiskebäckskil. Carl Wilhelmson mainly derived his motifs from his native Bohuslän, where he later had a summer villa built, designed by Ivar Callmander, which served as a residence and art studio. The house, which is still in the family's possession, opens its doors to visitors one day a year during the summer.

In Åse Öjbro's words, "the Skaftö pattern was created in Grundsund on a chilly winter day. I am fascinated by this part of Sweden with its picturesque boathouses and piers from different eras. With this pattern, I want to pay tribute to the dedicated professional fishermen, their tireless work on the open seas, year after year regardless of the weather. Fisherpeople - a professional group that works in close harmony with the forces of nature and the shifts of the sea. It is not just a job, but a lifestyle that is often passed down from generation to generation."

Nice quality butcher paper
Model: Kraft er Paper 002
This is great paper. It even comes with a spool of string for tying up whatever you’re wrapping if that’s how you’re using it. I’m using it to cover my sublimation projects in a heat press and it works perfect.

Great thickness and color
Model: Kraft er Paper 002
This paper was great for wrapping Christmas gifts this year. It was a good color white and was easy to write names directly on, no need for tags! The weight of the paper was great and tape also held up easily. It is perfect for medium to small packages. Purchased item.

My Go-To Sublimation Paper — Flawless Results Every Time
Size: 8.5"x11", Size: 8.5"x11"
This is hands down the best sublimation paper I’ve used and the only one I continue to buy. I get a perfect transfer every single time—no fracturing, no fading, and no uneven results. The paper dries fast, which makes my workflow so much smoother, especially when I’m producing items in batches. I use this regularly to make air fresheners and tote bags for my small business, and the color payoff is always vibrant and crisp. The transfer rate is excellent, and it works beautifully on light-colored, high-quality polyester and other sublimation-ready surfaces. If you’re a small business owner or crafter who values consistency, quality, and ease of use, this paper is absolutely worth it. I highly recommend it and will continue to repurchase.

Best Sublimation Paper
Size: 8.5"x11"
I’ve been using A-Sub paper for my sublimation projects, and it is easily one of the best. The ink dries almost instantly once printed, so I don’t have to worry about smudging the design or getting those annoying "pizza wheel" marks from the printer rollers. The paper itself feels substantial and doesn't tear or curl easily. One of the biggest wins for me is that it never jams; it feeds through perfectly every time, saving me the frustration of wasting expensive ink and paper. When I go to press my designs, the ink releases almost completely, leaving very little behind on the paper and putting all that color onto the project. The final results look super professional, with colors that are vibrant and sharp rather than looking faded or dull. It has worked perfectly for everything I’ve tried so far, and if you want a reliable paper that gives you consistent, high-quality results, this is definitely the one to get.
