With the Prodigy line expanding into 2024, we see the launch of the Bauer Prodigy Youth Chest & Arm Protector. Made specifically for young goalies, this chest protector features dual-density foam for protection, improved sternum coverage, and a thickened cushioned nylon wrap on the outside of the pad for a clean look.
External Material
In order to provide optimal breathability and durability, the Bauer Prodigy chest exterior is made of mesh and nylon, which keeps players cool during vigorous play. Its Thermomax+ lining improves comfort and hygiene for goaltenders to concentrate on their game by controlling temperature, wicking away moisture, and combating odors and bacteria.
Internal Foams
Dual-density foams are incorporated into the Bauer Prodigy chest, demonstrating the brand's dedication to providing excellent protection without sacrificing weight. These foams achieve the ideal balance between offering dependable impact protection and keeping the chest light for maximum dexterity on the ice.
Shoulder Caps
The Prodigy chest features a sewn-in shoulder cap made of a combination of foam and hard plastic. This combination keeps goalies safe during intense gameplay by providing robust protection against impacts and durability.
Adjustable Arms
The Bauer Prodigy chest's arms have sewn-in construction for extreme resilience and are made to be both versatile and long-lasting. Goaltenders can adjust the arm length with Bauer's Velcro strap, even though it is sewn in, for maximum comfort and protection, guaranteeing a perfect fit on the ice.
Elbow Caps
Bauer decided to include their renowned three-piece segmented elbow caps with the Prodigy Chest Protector. Goaltenders can move freely and quickly on the ice thanks to these caps' unmatched flexibility and mobility. The elbow caps' sturdy construction of foam and hard plastic offers dependable protection against hits, and their nylon lining adds comfort and durability so goalies can give their all without sacrificing performance.
Back Straps
Regarding fit customization, the Bauer Prodigy excels in that area as well. Each person can truly find their perfect fit with the Bauer GSX Prodigy chest thanks to its adjustable shoulder floater collar, fully adjustable shoulder, and one elastic back strap that can adjust to different tightness levels.
Sizes & Colors
The Bauer Prodigy Youth Chest & Arm Protector comes in sizes S/M and L/XL. It also features a primarily black look, with a few hints of green, white and grey on the upper torso area.
