This assists in areas where vibration could be a problem. Although the cap when tightened is locked it can be un screwed and re tightened. The 16MM series of TE Connectivity are nylon cable glands and locknuts which are designed with anti-vibration top caps. This assists in areas where vibration could be a problem. Although the cap when tightened is locked it can be un-screwed and re-tightened.
