The HSP Cold Air Intake Bundle like we said is step one. This kit has all the first parts you will need to get that truck breathing right and making the power that it could have been making all along.

What is the HSP Cold Air Intake Bundle?

The HSP Cold Air Intake Bundle consists of two major parts. That HSP Diesel saw as major power killers and parts that really needed to be changed. So we wanted to start with something that was a good first step for many and most people with the 2004.5-2007 Duramax equipped trucks. Our HSP Cold Air Intake Bundle comes with a ColdAir Intake, a VGT Mouthpiece, and all new hardware.

Tell Us about the Cold Air Intake that is in the HSP Cold Air Intake Bundle

The cold air intake that comes with the HSP Cold Air Intake Bundle is the same killer design and product that you have grown to love and trust. To start our intake is made from high-quality metal that is then hand-fitted and welded. That heat shield box protects that air from those hot underhood temperatures that are right on the other side of it. This means that you are drawing in cooler air and as we all know cooler air is denser and the denser it is the more we can shove into our turbo to make more power! Our Cold Air intake that comes with the HSP Cold Air Intake Bundle also includes a 4 1/2 Inch mandrel-bent tubing that provides an extremely consistent and free-flowing path that reduces turbulence and allows for more air to flow. These intakes have been dyno proven to provide an additional 20 Horsepower and 58 Pounds of Torque on average. This additional power is made due to the added air we are able to force into the engine but also because we are keeping temperatures down. We have found that for every 1-Degree increase in intake air temps result in an average of 3HP loss.

The VGT Intake Mouthpiece that comes in the HSP Cold Air Intake Bundle is something that really should be a no-brainer. Now what we mean by that is if you want your Coldair Intake to work to its full potential then the VGT Intake Mouthpiece is something you must have. Our VGT Intake Mouthpiece is hand fabricated, now what this means and does for you is we are able to make sure that the VGT Intake Mouthpiece has the smoothest transitions possible all while still retaining the factory location. The VGT Intake Mouthpiece also uses an O-Ring seal at the inlet of the turbo, this provides us with the tightest seal possible and prevents any unwanted air from coming in or our fresh air going out. Using HSP Diesel's VGT Intake Mouthpiece combined with our Cold Air Intake you are able to get the absolute maximum amount of air that the system can offer. This means cleaner, denser air that has less turbulence.

*Special Note*

This turbo mouthpiece that is sold in this kit will give you the ability to reroute your factory PCV system and remove the factory resonator box. Thus eliminating unwanted engine oil gumming up the turbo, and intake system (PCV re-route sold separately see 003-1-HSP).

When using this on the LLY equipped Duramax the MAF must be rescaled to run correctly.
