Arrow (Maranta Arundinacea) is a small shrub of the Marantaceae family. The plant reaches about a meter in height. The rhizomes have spindle-shaped tuberoid thickenings. Leaves are pubescent dark green, ovate-lanceolate, pointed. The flowers are of white color.*

Glycerites can also be administered directly into the mouth without the assistance of water however some glycerites are unpalatable which is why most people prefer to dilute them into a beverage.
