ABOUT ORTIGIA

Ortigia is a small Italian homeware and soap company founded in Sicily in 2006 by Sue Townsend. All Ortigia products are made by small family companies who pride themselves on the quality of their products. The highly decorative packaging is designed by Sue Townsend and draws on exotic Sicilian images and colours.

The name Ortigia comes from the small island that lies at the edge of the ancient fortified city of Siracusa, on Sicily’s southeastern coast. The streets of Ortigia are crumbling baroque façades of great splendour looking out on 3 sides to the sea. The Piazza del Duomo is considered one of the most beautiful in Italy.

Decent bracket, Non-beveled screw holes cause complications
The screws that secure the mount to the underside of the desk stick out enough to cause the inner dimensions to change. I had to use the next hole down to increase the size of the bracket to accommodate my device, resulting in a less secure mount than desired. If the holes were beveled so that the screws fit more flush with the mount I'd be able to give it 5 stars. But the inner dimensions are not entirely as advertised due to the screws. Quality is up to standard otherwise, installation is relatively straightforward, price point is fine for a bracket of this size.
