"Youthful purple color. A highly perfumed bouquet evokes ripe blackcurrant, blueberry, violet and olive and a smoky bacon nuance builds in the glass. Sweet and broad in the mouth, offering concentrated, mineral-tinged dark fruit liqueur, floral pastille and candied licorice flavors and a strong hint of spicecake. "Marked by scents of licorice, plum and cassis, the 2017 Crozes Hermitage Domaine de Thalabert is a full-bodied effort with a fine sense of balance, a crisp finish and slightly drying tannins" Robert Parkers, Wine Advocated, Dec 2019

"This has a very attractive feel in 2017. Sanguine aromas of chocolate, iron and dark berries. There’s some real richness and a plush feel on the palate with a fine, elongated tannin drive. Super sleek. Great density and focus here. Will age very well. Try from 2024" James Suckling, Oct 2019

The grape must be the fruit of nature and not of synthetic chemistry. It is with this conviction that Caroline has been leading her vineyard towards biodynamic agriculture for the past decade, including organic certification in 2016. An approach that involves a deep understand of the nature of the vine and links it to its global environment, frp, the infinitely big to the infinitely small, as well as to the vital forces involved . Biodynamic preparations, link between all these elements, are used: Horn manure (500). horn silica (501) and plants harvested or grown in their permaculture garden. Therir Hermitage and Crozes Hermitage vineyards are managed biodynamically since 2017.

Hand-picked, sorting on the plot, in small crates. The vatting period lasts around 4 weeks with gentle extractions. Aged in French oak barrels (20% new).

The particularity of 2017 is its remarkable earliness, which even dethrones 2003. A budburst at the end of March, irregular flowering, veraison before the berries achieved their growth, hot and dry conditions, interspersed with life-saving storms, led to an early harvest characterized by small berries with thick and very healthy skins. Under these stressful conditions, only the best soils allow the vine to achieve the complete phenolic ripening of the grapes; provided that the viticulture has favoured the deep rooting of the vine and the proper functioning of the soils. A long-term work that makes a difference.

This estate of around 40 ha is located on the lower pebbly terraces that are glacial in origin. These small, round pebbles store heat during the day and release it at night, providing optimum and regular maturity.

Made of 100% Syrah - 40 to 60 years. It has an ageing capability from 8 to 20 years.

Domaine de Thalabert, property of Paul Jaboulet Aine since 1834, is the oldest vineyard in the Appellation. The Crozes Hermitage vineyard is the largest of all the Northern Rhone Valley Appellations and extend over 11 communes situated in the Drome, on the left bank of the Rhone. A former farmhouse that belonged to the Gounon family, the building and its enclosure now house their first LPO biodiversity refuge, Clos Gounon.

Excellent Quality
Size: 11"x17", Size: 11"x17"
This paper is the only paper I have ever tried with my sublimation printer. I get the most vibrant colors with every transfer. I have not experienced any fading even after washing multiple times. I have purchased this paper in letter size, 11x17, as well as 13x19 for use on welcome doormats. I have not been disappointed with any. The paper feeds through my printer without issue whether I load a single sheet, or multiples. So far, I've used it to sublimate on dishtowels, garden flags, welcome mats, t shirts, sweatshirts, and mugs. I am always happy with the finished product. I highly recommend this sublimation paper, and it can usually be found at a great price. I advise you to stock up when you see a sale

Best sub paper!
Size: 8.5"x11"
This is actually my second box of this paper I purchased. I use it that much! I like it that much! It works easily through my Epson 2850. The sub ink transfers to this paper with vibrant colors before pressing. I like the ASub print on the back to help me load the paper correctly in my printer. The ink does not bleed through the paper. I like that this paper comes in a plastic bag and in a box. This is helpful to keep the moisture out of the paper. The paper is durable as I try to manipulate on my substrate.
