This capsule is often used for acoustical measurement, an application for which it has gained a considerable reputation.
Note: This capsule is delivered with a hand signed Certificate from the factory. Matching is of frequency response and sensitivity within exceptionally low tolerances. There is some directivity at high frequencies due to the physics of sound wavelengths. Thus even with an omnidirectional microphone, it still matters which way the capsule is aimed.
