A classic simple elasticated cotton skirt with pockets. East to combine with a linen or wool/silk blend t-shirt on warm days or pair with cosy wool knits and thermals in cooler weather. A versatile and truly comfortable skirt in a beautiful quality patchwork fabric hand pieced by rural artisans in India. The skirt itself is sewn in small batches in Melbourne.

As this Indian cloth is handmade, it is susceptible to irregularities in the weave or print: these are part of its charm and are not classed as flaws. Some small appliqué patches might feature - we have created these in house to ensure that all parts of the fabric can be used with little wastage. Each skirt is made up of a unique patchwork of fabrics, no two will be the same.

Machine Washable: Cold delicate cycle only. Dry in shade.
Care: Delicate machine wash in cold water with mild detergent. Dry flat or line dry. Iron if desired. Never dry in direct sunlight as the colour can bleach and fade. NB. Starch has been applied to strengthen the yarn during the weaving process -  this will come out after a few washes.
