Brand new for the fall of 2021, Brian’s Custom Sports proudly introduces their newest pad line to the world; introducing the Brians G-Netik V Pro! While being custom handcrafted in Canada, Brian’s has taken feedback from their pro advisory team and retail consumers alike to provide high end levels of equipment designed for today’s butterfly goaltender.
Following the success and popularity of the visual look of the G-Netik IV, Brian’s has added more color zones while keeping the long lines across the blocker to visually distract shooters.
The G-Netik V has a large HD blocking board reinforced with an all new Bri-Core triaxle carbon-fiber composite to provide significant rigidity throughout, and a beveled nose which not only helps the goalies in their main stance, but it helps the blocker seal well to the ice in paddle down and RVH technique. Helping with this large square design is a redesigned, ultra ridged internally laced sidewall. The thumb has a unique reinforced and shortened shape for improved control with the paddle along the ice.
The palm of the G-Netik V blocker is made from full Digitech, which helps grip the stick during play but also keeps the hand from sliding around inside the palm during play. This is coupled with a neutral hand position that is centered on the board to provide complete balance and comfort.
The wrist strap provides an anchor point for the sidewall which helps prevent flaring and offers a consistently squared sidewall to create more rigidity and stability during use.
Hidden under the new wrist strap, Brian’s has included the use BOA technology to help control the proper tension and tightness. This BOA dial allows the for continued theme of precise adjustment and a perfect fit for any goalie’s preference.

Linen-Cotton Casual Shirt
I live in the subtropics; breathable fabrics are important in your wardrobe. I realize synthetics have benefits, but for me natural fabrics are my preference. Linen and Cotton blend; yes please. I was looking for smart casual, something more than a t-shirt or golf-shirt but less than button-down. Something that would pair well with a nice pair of shorts and look good. And that it does.
Sizing is your question. I ordered a large because I often have difficulty fitting at the shoulder; the size chart indicates a medium would probably be better but I am OK with a little baggy casual too. In a brick-and-mortar store, I would normally try both sizes on and select the best fit. The arms and shoulder fit fine, the torso is a bit large. If I wear it to the beach unbuttoned, it looks great.

Lightweight but comfortable
I like that this shirt is lightweight and airy - great for warm and humid Florida weather. However, the sizing is off a bit. I received a large, but it fits more like a medium. It’s tight around the shoulders and chest. Still, it’s a nice shirt, but you may want to order a size up.

Real cotton/linen. Fit as expected.
This shirt is nicely made. It doesn't look cheap or tacky. It's very classy looking and could be easily dressed up or down. It's really cotton/linen as advertised. It does not have any stretch to it. It fit as sized. I washed on warm and hang dried with no shrinkage or issues. Color is true to ad pics.

Adorable, Complete Set—Great for Special Occasions

This suit set is such a great find! It comes with everything you need—jacket, pants, shirt, tie, and bow tie—which makes getting a dressed-up look so easy. It's excellent quality for a suit in this price range.
The linen fabric gives it a nice, lightweight feel and a polished look that works well for both formal and semi-casual events. My son looked adorable in it, and it was perfect for the spring wedding we attended.

Fit was true to size based on the chart, but I agree with the recommendation—if your child is between sizes or growing quickly, sizing up is a good idea. I sized up with the hopes that he can wear it again for another event because it looks fantastic!
Overall, a really cute and practical suit set that looks great without being uncomfortable. Perfect for any special event
