These small hoop earrings feature sterling silver posts and butterflies. They are dainty, easy to wear and understated, providing a little more interest than standard hoop earrings for everyday wear.

Hoop diameter is approximately 12.5mm or 1/2 inch.

I discovered the twigs that I used for this design in my local park when walking my dog. At first I thought theat it was a cherry tree but the buds just didn't look like cherry buds. Then I noticed that there are two trees that have grown together, one cherry, the other willow. I used to be a landscape architect so I am always fascinated by plants and can't go past some bushes in the park without checking them for good twigs!

This listing is for sterling silver, gold plated or 9 carat gold options, but if you are buying these studs a landmark gift for a big birthday or confirmation, you can also order them in 9 or 18 carat gold or platinum. Please contact me for a quote.  Please note that where Fair Trade option is given, this applies to the cast parts of the item only.  The ear posts and scrolls are not produced with Fair Trade gold at this time.
