The 3M™ PELTOR™ ComTac™ VIII Multi Comm Headset (MT14H418A-109 GN) is a tactical headset designed to provide both hearing protection and enhanced situational awareness in high-noise environments. Featuring a 23 dB attenuation rating, it offers protection from impulse and steady-state noise while maintaining environmental awareness through advanced listening modes, including Mission Audio Profiles (MAP).
Equipped with a dynamic noise-cancelling microphone and a Nexus 10-pin connection, the headset supports clear two-way communication via external radios. It also includes an earplug mode for added protection and soundscaping technology to improve speech intelligibility. Powered by rechargeable or disposable AAA batteries with up to 50 hours of life, it is compatible with select helmet systems when used with an optional mounting accessory. Built for demanding tactical use, the ComTac VIII is ideal for military and defense professionals.
