Reproduction of Cherry Blossom II by Chris Paschke
Chris Paschke — "Cherry Blossom II" is a masterful example of contemporary botanical illustration that synthesizes traditional East Asian aesthetics with modern minimalist sensibilities. The work aligns with the broader tradition of Japanese ink painting (sumi-e) and ukiyo-e woodblock prints, particularly in its emphasis on line, negative space, and the depiction of transitory natural beauty. Paschke's use of a single, continuous line to define the blossoms and branches demonstrates a profound understanding of gesture and economy of form, echoing the influence of calligraphic practice. The composition employs an asymmetric balance, with the branch entering from the left and extending diagonally across the frame, creating a dynamic yet harmonious visual flow that guides the viewer's eye. The color palette, dominated by soft pinks and delicate washes of light blue, is rendered with a high degree of subtlety, achieving a remarkable sense of luminosity and airiness. This restrained approach to color and form creates a powerful contrast with the often lush and saturated depictions of floral subjects in historical Western art. The work's interpretive significance lies in its ability to evoke a profound sense of tranquility and contemplation, transforming a simple natural subject into a meditative object that speaks to themes of impermanence, renewal, and the quiet elegance of nature. Its visual and conceptual resonance places it firmly within the lineage of modern botanical art that values both aesthetic refinement and spiritual depth. For more art by Chris Paschke click here.

Nice little travel solution for jewelry
Size: Medium (6.8"W*4.4"D*2.2"H), Color: Pink
Cute travel box for my jewelry. The necklace hangers aren’t all that snug, causing my necklaces to fall and tangle some. But otherwise, works as expected.

My fave ever
I bought this to travel for a summer camp and still use it, two years later! It is now my everyday jewelry container. The gold clasp has held up well and closes well. Very easy to use and structurally sound! I love the color and overall vibe of it too- very straight forward. I use the top portion for long earrings, so know if you do that, it can be finnicky, if you have fun or funky shaped earrings- so just know they may get caught but it's such an easy fix. I would say it is about the size of half of an American Girl doll. Maybe around the size of half a goose.

Love this! Sturdy and elegant
I have a small selection of jewelry pieces I wear but I needed something that would keep them all together in one place. This jewelry box is fantastic! And It fits two pairs of sunglasses on the bottom compartment. I like that there’s a little tab to help pull up the top part. It was actually a bit bigger than expected which is a good thing. And still small enough for traveling. The necklace tabs are sturdy and hold them in place. I’m very satisfied with my purchase.
