- Reinstall Lower Unit: Guide the lower unit back into place, aligning the driveshaft, shift shaft, and water tube. Bolt it securely.
- Test Operation: Reconnect the spark plug and use a water source (flushing muffs) to run the engine at idle. Confirm a steady stream of water from the tell-tale outlet.
