Set up and configure your IP camera using the POINTSOURCE Plus Battery Powered PoE Injector from Veracity . Connect the device to your network camera using an RJ45 PoE connector and locally view the camera's field of view from your laptop. Once connected, the PoE injector will also allow you to capture snapshots or video clips of scenes while on site. With this information, you can then adjust your camera's alignment, focus, and field of view, all from the PoE injector.
This PoE injector is powered by a removable, rechargeable battery which can supply the device with enough power for a full day of work. Furthermore, you can rapidly swap the battery with additional spare batteries (available separately) for continued power, and the original battery can be charged while a second battery is powering the PoE injector for constant use. The injector also features a USB port for powering other devices, such as a tablet or smartphone, while on the job. Additionally, the device uses LED indicators to let you know the status of your PoE, battery, and network connections.
You can also pair the PoE injector with an IP camera that has integrated storage for a temporary surveillance recording system.
