London is the 1978 debut album from Streetband — the sharp, witty pop‑rock outfit best known for featuring a young Paul Young before his solo breakthrough. Blending new‑wave energy, power‑pop hooks and a distinctly British sense of humour, the album delivers tight songwriting and lively performances, including the cult favourite Toast.
This 2022 Netherlands CD reissue from Music On CD brings the album back into circulation with clean, faithful audio and straightforward packaging, ideal for collectors of late‑70s pop‑rock and new‑wave curios.
