ITs owners, Georges Antoun & Patricia Alexandre have for several years had strong ties with artist Toma-l, they invited him to create a live ephemeral work at the domain in 2019. It did not take more than that for them to give him full permission to create the label of the Arte cuvée.

Thomas Labarthe, who has lived for a long time between Nantes & Marseille, now exhibits in Paris, Nantes, Lyon, Lille, New York, Montreal, Brussels & Salzburg. The artist paints without any idea before starting his work. He calls it “free & instinctive expression”. He imagined 6 different labels for this exceptional cuvée, making the bottles of the ARTE wine works of art in their own right.

Tasting Notes 

Garnet colour on appearance with a nose full of spices, tobacco, cocoa bean & liquorice fruit. Fresh & elegant on the palate with tannins and robust structure..

Grape: 95% Syrah & 5% Grenache

Ageing: Stainless steel fermentation & aged in oak barrels for 18 months before bottling.

Best served with: Ideal marriage with red meats such as spicy lamb dishes of lamb, duck & grilled beef.
