One-Step Plasma Preparation for High-Volume Molecular Diagnostics
The PPT™ tube is specifically designed for molecular diagnostic test methods that require undiluted plasma specimens. The polymer separator gel forms a stable barrier between the plasma and cellular components after centrifugation, allowing plasma to be aspirated cleanly without cellular contamination. K2 EDTA prevents coagulation by chelating calcium ions, preserving the specimen for downstream molecular testing.
