The Dark Stag Premium Razor (or Shavette) is made of stainless steel throughout, providing the quality weight and stability a barber needs in their every day work. This durable, solid tool guarantees no rust, whilst not compromising the stylish flair and modern design. A shavette or replaceable straight blade razor is a relative of the traditional cut throat razor, but with the benefit of easily changeable blades. This is ideal for barbers in terms of ease of use and hygiene. This straight razor uses half of a traditional double edge blade, meaning one full blade can be used for 2 clients.
Detail
This straight razor comes in an ultra-modern, stylish stainless steel, everything from the gently rounded point/tip, and toe of the blade, the face, edge and heel. This continues over the tang and finishing over the tail. The pivot pin and spine lock are also stainless steel, but with extra hand-painted detail in the pins in a beautiful gold and copper colour, with the lock helping to keep the replaceable blade in place. The thumb rest is specially moulded to make sure that comfort remains high whilst using it. The gentle curve behind the thumb rest ensures there are no accidental slips during use. The handle, blade and spine lock have also been laser-engraved with extra detail, maintaining that sense of the ultra-modern throughout.
