“I have kept this train running for five years, thirty-six missions. You don’t get where you’re told to go by standing in front of it and then moving the track.”A breakout character in Star Trek: Picard Season 3 is Todd Stashwick’s irascible captain of the U.S.S. Titan-A, Liam Shaw. A deeply flawed but dedicated Federation officer, Shaw is at first a hindrance to Picard and Riker in the quest to rescue Dr. Crusher. However, his confessional monologue about the trauma suffered at Wolf 359 endeared him to fans and made him an indelible part of Star Trek lore.
This Star Trek action figure re-creates Captain Shaw in exquisite 1:6 detail. Standing approximately 12 inches tall, every element, from his 24th-century tunic to his custom black boots, is authentically reproduced. The original portrait sculpt of Todd Stashwick as Shaw has an authentic, hand-painted likeness.
This fine collectible figure is an excellent rendition of the Captain you love to hate and an excellent addition to your EXO-6 Star Trek™: Picard 1:6-scale figure collection.
The Captain Liam Shaw Sixth Scale Figure features:
Fully Articulated Body: More than 30 points of articulation allow the figure to be displayed in multiple dynamic poses, approximately 31 cm tall.
Realistic Portrait: Lovingly rendered by a top artist, this is an excellent likeness of Todd Stashwick in his role as Shaw. Each head sculpt is specially hand-painted.
Starfleet Duty Uniform: Meticulously researched, this duty uniform matches the pattern, and color of the original costume recreated in 1:6 scale. Tiny deltas are printed on the shoulders just as on the original costume. An authentically scaled communicator badge is permanently affixed to the tunic.
Boots: Soft plastic boots sculpted to match the cut and style of the original movie footwear.
Display Base: A hexagonal display base featuring the transporter pad will provide additional support for the figure. Two different inserts for the floor of the base can represent the transporter pad or the center of the transporter array.
Multiple hands for holding accessories and various poses.
Accessories:
Captain Shaw is equipped with:
Federation Phaser: A sleekly designed hand phaser as seen in the Picard series.
Wine glass: In his first introduction to Picard and the audience Shaw has a glass of Malbec.

Excellent 11 hole jig
Size: 11 Holes
This jig worked excellently. It doesn't have any instructions, so I watched the video of it. I set it up the way the video showed, and I got decent results. Deducted a star since no instructions.

Good jig
Size: 11 Holes
The jig itself is great. The markings make it easy to be consistent; the design is well thought-out; and the build quality is good. I would recommend replacing the drill bit, though. A nice brad point will serve you better.

In the trash after a single use
Size: 11 Holes
For context, I’m a seasoned woodworker and always evaluate tools with the price in mind. This seemed like a good deal and in fact when it arrived, it looked and felt like reasonable quality for the price. Unhappily, the first bookshelf I drilled was off from side to side by almost 3 mm which would make a really wobbly shelf situation. It took a while to figure out what was happening, but I finally realized the metal bushings that guide the drill bit are so soft that they cored out from contact with the bit even though I was cautious to not put the bit in under power but to get it in the bushing and aligned before drilling. Still, the bushings started angling immediately. So when you then use those angled bushings to set the pin for the next series, it’s off by a little bit. Then the next is off by a little more…. By the time I drilled holes up and down a 6’ high shelf, the bushings were out of square, the holes were 3 mm out of alignment, and the shelf sides were firewood. Back to the drawing board and this goes in the trash, I’m afraid.
