Our ECS Tuning in-house designed and engineered Battery Cover kit includes a precision 3D designed heat resistant, textured matte black polymer battery lid with a durable CNC-bent powder-coated aluminum battery case. 

PART DESIGN

• BATTERY LID
  • Made from heat resistant, textured matte black polymer; special attention paid to the heat found in the engine bay throughout product testing, in addition to OE-type textured material to match OEM underhood components. 
  • Stepped edge allows for secure fitment to the battery case quick latches 
  • Further design characteristics such as the raised center lid add styling aspects that looks great in any engine bay

• BATTERY CASE
  • CNC-bent from heavy duty 5052 aluminum for precise fitment and durability 
  • Powder-coated in a tough wrinkle black finish for a sleek and OEM-type finish 
  • Pre-installed "Quick Latches" make installation and serviceability of the battery lid quick and easy 
  • Laser cut mounting tabs engage the OEM battery tray with precision, locking the case into position for rigid mounting 
  • Pre-installed neoprene rubber edge trim outlines the positive battery cable pass-through for abrasion protection and a clean, finished appearance

• Our ECS Tuning Battery Cover Kit was designed, engineered, tested and quality inspected by our Research and Development team in our Wadsworth, Ohio facility. We strive for the highest level of precision and quality through leading-edge product development technology including FARO laser scanning for reverse engineering and quality inspection, SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling, rapid prototyping utilizing our in-house 3D printer, and rigorous long term product testing.
