Core Products D-Core Orthopedic Cervical Pillow

The D-Core Orthopedic Pillow is a foundational tool for corrective sleep posture. For individuals managing chronic neck stiffness, morning headaches, or spinal misalignment, a standard soft pillow often fails to provide the necessary structural support. This "Zero-Friction" orthopedic solution utilizes a patented D-shaped indentation to stabilize the head while the elevated cervical lobes maintain the neck's natural lordotic curve. By aligning the airway and spine, the D-Core helps reduce muscle strain and promotes deeper, more restorative sleep.

Are you unsure if the Mid-Size or Full-Size firm support is best for your shoulder width? Call 866-218-0902 to speak with a spinal support specialist about our Core Products orthopedic collection.

Clinical Features & Benefits

  • Patented D-Shaped Center: Provides a dedicated "cradle" for the back of the head, preventing the neck from tilting at unnatural angles during the night.
  • Firm Cervical Support: The outer rolls are filled with premium 100% polyester fiberfill, offering the rigid support necessary to decompress the cervical vertebrae.
  • Multi-Positional Comfort: Anatomically shaped to support back sleepers in the center and side sleepers on the elevated side lobes, ensuring continuous alignment.
  • Hypoallergenic Materials: Constructed with a soft, breathable cotton/polyester blend cover that is gentle on the skin and keeps the sleeping surface cool.
  • Clinical Longevity: Unlike standard foam pillows that flatten, the high-resiliency fiberfill is designed to spring back, maintaining its corrective shape for years.

The Standard for Chiropractic & Physical Therapy Recovery

Chiropractors and Physical Therapists frequently recommend the D-Core Orthopedic Pillow for patients managing cervical radiculopathy, arthritis of the spine, and post-concussion recovery. By enforcing a neutral spine position, the pillow allows the muscles in the neck and upper back to fully relax, preventing the "guarding" response that leads to spasms. This is particularly effective for those transitioning from a cervical traction protocol to a home maintenance routine.

The D-Core is specifically sized to fit into a standard pillowcase, making it a seamless addition to your existing bedding. While there is a short "adjustment period" as your neck adapts to proper alignment, the long-term benefits include reduced nerve pressure and a significant decrease in morning neck fatigue.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How long does it take to get used to an orthopedic pillow?

Most users require 3 to 7 days to adjust. We recommend alternating with your old pillow for the first few nights to allow your neck muscles to gradually adapt to the corrective support.

Can I wash the D-Core pillow?

To preserve the internal fiber structure, we recommend spot cleaning the pillow with a damp cloth and mild soap. Using a high-quality pillow protector will extend the life of the cotton-blend cover.

Is this pillow suitable for stomach sleepers?

Orthopedic cervical pillows are primarily designed for back and side sleepers. Stomach sleeping is generally discouraged for neck health, but if you must sleep on your stomach, a thinner, flatter pillow is typically required.

America's master poet
Format: Kindle
William Carlos Williams serves as a plumb line for writers. Keeping it clean & straight with a modern appreciation for the REAL. I read a Williams poem a day, something I will do throughout life. So much depends upon the truth enshrined in "All ideas in things"

ishiness
Format: Paperback
Williams' poetry requires some bio, and Charles Tomlinson's introduction in this edition has proved helpful. also Wendell Berry has published a handsome critique in "William Carlos Williams of Rutherford" that helps to mitigate some of the ishiness that may result from reading Williams without understanding the man. that beins said, Williams speaks well to the listeners of the finical new millenium with a mind for the migrant-flux consequences of the coming century -stressing the "thing" and the "American idiom" with attention to detail and irrepressible imagination "flung outward and up-disappearing suddenly" (from "Strains" in Al Que Quiere)

Above The River: The Complete Poems of james Wright
Format: Paperback
This volume is fascinating, because it does show the different stages of Wright's development as a poet and a writer (the prose sketches and descriptions of Italy are wonderful). The early poems are extremely capable but there is a sense in which they feel constrained by formal verse conventions, especially rhyme. This becomes evident when he writes in free verse and his voice becomes easier and more vernacular. Some of the poems like "Hook" and "To A Blossoming Pear Tree" are wonderful: 'An old man / Appeared to me once / In the unendurable snow./ He had singe of white beard on his face. / He paused on a strett on Minneapolis / And stroked my face. // Give it to me, he begged / I'll pay you anything. // I flinched. Both terrified, / We slunk away, / Each in his own way dodging / The cruel darts of the cold. " There are some late poems when he becomes almost incoherent, but the centre of the book is a whole series of poems as powerful and honest as this.
