The two decades between 1913 and 1933 saw an unprecedented boom in Russian theatre culture, ignited by the avant-garde movement sweeping through the art world. As artistic, literary and musical traditions underwent a transformation against the backdrop of the First World War and the Russian Revolutions, artists from many different creative disciplines converged on Russian theatre to produce a remarkable flowering of radical, visionary and experimental design for performance. Such artists included Kazimir Malevich, Alexander Rodchenko, Sergei Eisenstein, Vladimir Tatlin, Alexandra Exter, El Lissitzky, Liubov Popova and Varvara Stepanova.
This book, published alongside a major exhibition at London's V&A, in association with the Bakhrushin State Central Theatre Museum in Moscow, has over 150 beautifully reproduced, full-colour set and costume designs from leading artists and designers of the period, many of which have never been published before.
Russian Avant-Garde Theatre: War, Revolution and Design will be of interest both to theatregoers and art historians, as well as current and future designers seeking inspiration for their own work.

Solid charger for the price
Picked this up as a backup for MacBook Air and honestly its been working great. It is enough to fast charge the laptop even while Im using it which is all I really needed. Also tried it on my iPhone and it works well. Easy to connect, no need to setup anything

Durable - Works for my Mac and my kids’ computers
My kids are constantly losing my MacBook charger and they’re expensive! So on Prime Day I treated myself and bought this charger - which I told them they’re never ever allowed to touch under any circumstances.
The brick is pretty big compared to what I’m used to. The cord length is fine and it charges my MacBook quickly just like I wanted it to! I was really pleasantly surprised by how legit this charger is for the price, given how costly they can be. It seems really sturdy.
Turns out, this charger also fits the Chromebooks that all 3 of my kids use for school, and whose chargers are always missing. So “my” charger is once again a shared charger. But it gets all 3 Chromebooks and my laptop fully charged in a night. Nice, easy, durable product for a great price.

EDIT: Wow okay... so things were working great for several months but then I started having issues with this charger and it would intermittently start and stop charging. The charger block itself would also get painfully hot to the touch. I had been using this product for less than a year when I started having these issues. I tested this out with other devices and outlets and witnessed the same behavior. I also took my MacBook to the Apple Store and they informed me that my battery was damaged, likely because of this charger. In light of this, I can no longer recommend the Sunveza charger.
