The Series 5505 45-Degree Angled Female NPT x Female NPT Rigid adapters, made from durable carbon steel, are designed to provide secure, leak-free connections in fluid and gas transfer systems. These adapters feature female NPT (National Pipe Tapered) threads, a U.S. standard that uses tapered threads to create a tight seal when the male and female components are threaded together. This ensures an effective seal, preventing leaks in high-pressure systems. The nominal pipe size can be identified by measuring the thread diameter and subtracting 1/4". These adapters are available in carbon steel for high-pressure applications, and iron or brass for lower-pressure needs, making them versatile for various industrial uses. Their 45-degree angle allows for flexible installation, ensuring a reliable, high-performance connection.
