Please note: This is not compatible with the Vigilant II 2310 coal stove. This unit takes kit #5007498 with 19.75" tie rods.

Vermont Castings has had a challenging history. Originally based in Vermont, Vermont Castings was purchased by a company called CFM (Canadian Fireplace Manufacturers).  CFM proceeded to ‘restructure’ corporately a few times, and was eventually purchased by a company called HHT.  Because Vermont Castings changed ownership and moved production so many times, not to mention the thousands of replacement parts in their stoves – accessing the correct replacement part on a timely basis is not always easy. New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging is applicable).
