Features/Benefits
The "Turnberry" bench is Alexander Rose best selling design. This is a middleweight bench at 24kg with good sized sections of Roble wood giving strength and durability.

The seat slats run side to side in the traditional manner. The seat is dished for comfort.

The back slats are shaped for comfort, the top rail is curved.

The shaped arms have a flat top surface, ideal for placing drinks.

The bench is made of FSC certified Roble wood providing you with a long lasting, stable, strong bench sourced from responsibly managed forests.

The Turnberry does have wood lamination on back leg only. Lamination reduces costs as more of the log can be used thereby reducing waste. The legs have a laminated finger joint at the change of angle.

The main bench assemblies are fixed with flat head hex/allen furniture connector screws. Shallow mortise and tenon joints used to locate correct connection and stop twisting

When you receive the bench, it will be fully assembled.

Engraving
This bench can accommodate 2 lines of engraving on the top rail  and 1 line on the seat rail. The maximum number of carved letters is 40 characters per line (including spaces).

The V carved letters are typically 0.3inch/8mm  deep, depending on the font type and size. This depth of carving takes a lot of machining time but the result is an inscription which is crisp, clear and readable

Choose how many lines of engraving you require, then type the inscription above the "Add to cart" button. Finally, select your font type from the drop down list and add it to cart. 

We offer free design proof, please choose this option if you require one. 

We aim to make the letters as large as possible, for example if you choose one line instead of three, then the letter height is likely to be larger.
