Sculpture en verre soufflé à main levée émaillé en surface de couleur noire et blanc gravé à la fraise diamantée. Le soufflage de l’oeuvre a été réalisé dans l’atelier de Vannes-Le-Châtel en Meurthe et Moselle et ensuite gravé par Gérald Vatrin dans son atelier de Nancy. Cette pièce est d’une grande originalité, en effet, marqué par une influence africaine (l’artiste a vécu à Djenné au Mali), l’artiste introduit souvent dans ses sculptures une touche «africaine » faite de « gris gris » en bois. Nous en avons ici l’illustration avec le « bouchon » de ce vase. Gérald Vatrin est un grand Maître Verrier nancéien qui a fait de nombreuses expositions dans le monde entier et qui est représenté dans cinq musées qui présentent des verreries. Cette pièce est unique et appelée « Tigi », elle est vendue accompagnée du certificat d’authenticité de l’artiste.
