Hoya kanyakumariana Inner Variegated is a variegated form of Hoya kanyakumariana characterized by inner variegation, where the center of each leaf displays yellow variegation while the leaf edges remain green.
Care Tips:
-
Light: Provide bright, indirect light. Variegated plants often need more light than their non-variegated counterparts to maintain variegation, but avoid harsh direct sun.
-
Watering: Use a wet-dry cycle; let the top of the media dry before watering again.
-
Humidity: Medium to high humidity will be helpful, especially for stability of variegated foliage.
-
Soil / Mix: Use a well-draining, airy mix (orchid bark + perlite + something organic) to replicate its epiphytic nature.
-
Temperature: Keep in a warm environment; avoid prolonged exposure to cold.
-
Propagation: Use cuttings; variegated cuttings may root slower or need more care.
