Originally released in 1993 as her Elektra Records debut, the album departs from Griffith’s own songwriting to celebrate the work of her musical heroes—featuring guest appearances from Emmylou Harris, Arlo Guthrie, John Prine, and more.

Anchored by her unmistakable voice and emotional clarity, Griffith brings new life to folk classics like “Tecumseh Valley” and “Speed of the Sound of Loneliness,” delivering performances that earned her the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Folk Album.

I had been using knock off apple earbuds for a long time(i still do for audio haha) but lately people have been complaining my mic cuts out or is too quiet etc - so i finally gave in and got myself this mic - not a single word since(except how much better it is). You could probably do ASMR on this if you wanted to lol - it has all sorts of audio modes. I like the single directional one since I have a wall right in front of me (and behind the mic) so sound bounces the wall and would normally cause an echo, but this mic just ignores it and sounds great regardless. Its very well made, I don't think anyone would have anything bad to say about the build quality, its got a nice metal frame and a built in pop filter which is good enough for my use. It is just plug and play. If you have a little money to spare and are looking for a mic - I don't think you can go wrong with this one
