Wijnmaken is al generaties lang een traditie van de familie Coppola. Net als het maken van muziek en films. De klassiekers Apocalypse Now en de Godfather Trilogie zijn over de hele wereld bekend en geregisseerd door Francis Ford Coppola. En laat hij nou net zo gepassioneerd en succesvol zijn in het maken van wijnen. Halverwege de jaren zeventig besloot Francis om zijn bekendheid te verplaatsen naar wijnen. Zijn wijnhuis heeft in de loop der jaren een behoorlijke reputatie opgebouwd met succesvolle wijnen over de hele wereld. De Cabernet Sauvignon druiven voor deze 93rd Awards special zijn afkomstig van hooggelegen wijngaarden in de Alexander Vally. Hier schijnt de zon volop en daarmee is het rijpingsproces van de druif een uitdaging. Maar gelukkig tempert de wind deze temperaturen waardoor de druiven alsnog mooie eigenschappen kunnen ontwikkelen. De druiven worden bij optimale rijpheid geoogst en direct naar de wijnmakerij gebracht. Hier vindt een strenge selectie plaats, want voor Francis Ford Coppola is alleen het beste van het beste goed genoeg. Ook binnen het vinificatieproces wordt niets aan het toeval overgelaten. De Cabernet Sauvignon druiven werden geoogst in 2019, hetzelfde jaar waarin er voor de 93ste keer de Oscars werden uitgereikt. Het is een bijzonder unieke wijn die slechts beperkt beschikbaar is. The Family Coppola 93rd Awards Cabernet Sauvignon heeft in de geur verleidelijke aroma’s van bessen, mokka, toffee en cacaokruiden. In de mond komen sappige smaken samen. Excellent Tool For Drilling Shelf Pin Holes
I had a project where I was extending the depth of the bottom half of a bookcase I had made out of pre-drilled MDF from Home Depot. The original bookcase was 11" deep x 10' high. The extended depth of the bottom is to be used to hold audio gear and needed to be 18" depth, front to rear. I was able to increase the depth but had to insert additional panels on the left and right so that shelf pins could be installed. I needed a shelf pin jig to do that, and this jig was perfect for the job.
After completing my holes and mounting some shelves I was pleased that the alignment with the inner portion of the shelf was perfect and the distance between holes lined up exactly as with the original panels from Home Depot.
The jig is high quality fabricated aluminum, not plastic, and it comes with two drill bits, and stop and Allen wrench, including an instruction manual, all in an attractive plastic case.
The jig is well worth the modest price and I would definitely recommend it for drilling shelf clip holes.

a solid choice
I realized I don't need to drill 5mm holes, so this item is just perfect. It's higher quality than those other cheap-chinese noname jigs. In particular:
* The stop collar provided actually fits the drill bit. I had one from Tanyo that had too-big collars that didn't stay put.
* The fence pins are very soilid, so the jig doesn't move while in place. Other brands have a long knurled screw that wobbles and allows the kiig to move around.
* The plate is thick, making it feel sturdy.
* It's phyically smaller than the others, because it doesn't have any useless features like euro-hinge hole guides. The case is more compact and stores well.
Overall, very satisfied with this jig.

very nice tool
likes, all aluminum construction, seems very accurate and uses more sturdy 1/4 inch shelf pins instead of the 5mm ones
comes with 2 bits which is a huge plus the competition makes you buy the 1/4 drill and only is set up for 5mm to start.
this jig will work along side, for now, my other jig
dislike is the fact it only has 1/4 pin capability not a deal killer in any way, and it has "pins" to support the jig on the edge again this is both an advantage and disadvantage as you can change the depth of where the pins are located BUT if you are making something smaller the jig may not calibrate consistently.
on another positive you can replace the bits easily and commonly as they are not proprietary and simply standard 1/4 inch bits
this will be a fine addition to my other goingmake tools and future ones
