Description: The Z64-XXG6 kit features a MaXX pressure plate engineered for serious enthusiasts. Utilizing ACT MaXX pressure plates with an exclusive diaphragm design enhances clamp load, reduces deflection, and maximizes clutch life. The diaphragms undergo a four-stage heat-treating process for superior performance. Precision cover stampings ensure rigidity and consistency.
This kit includes a 6-pad, spring-centered race disc constructed to dampen torsional vibrations and resist failure under harsh conditions. The spring-center construction ensures proper damping, and ACT spring retainers utilize wraparound spring windows and thicker retainer stampings to provide support, reduce stress concentrations, and enhance strength and reliability. The 6-pad, spring-centered race disc results in harsher engagement but facilitates faster shifting. It's recommended for larger clutch sizes to absorb more heat.
