Care

General Maintenance: This slow growing plant can be planted year-round and boasts tiny white flowers. It is generally grown as a potted house plant and requires some pruning. Keep away from pets!

Temperature: 21 to 26 degrees Celsius is perfect, and regular household humidity should be just fine. If your house is particularly dry, consider misting the plant a little now and then.

Light: They grow best in bright light, but can also easily survive in partial shade. Keep out of direct sun rays, so that it doesn't burn.

Watering: Distilled water is recommended! Be careful not to overwater your Dracaena. To ensure it doesn't drown, wait until the top half of the soil is dry before watering (approximately 3+ weeks). If it develops brown tips, that's your cue it has received too much water.

Soil: loose, well draining potting mix is what the Dracaena prefers. Make sure the container has room for an extensive root system.

Fertilizer: Fertilizer is non-essential for Dracaenas, however, to boost their growth, you can feed them lightly in the spring, with a balanced control-release liquid fertilizer. Do not fertilize in the winter.

A staple in my pocket!
Format: Paperback
I’m a PA student in clinical rotations. This book helped me survive my ER rotation by guiding me with high yield information, differentials, physical exam and history to obtain. Love that it helps give insight on when to admit vs discharge in the treatment plan. Applicable across the board in family med, urgent care and other clinical settings other than ER too. I recommend this book to all students! My preceptors were very impressed in my thought processes and I have this book to thanks for that. I’ll be using this book throughout my career!

Straight to the point and everything you need
Format: Paperback
EMRA products never disappoint. I hardly leave reviews but this company makes the best resource materials out there. They have managed to distill down to the most important info needed to diagnose treat , and work up most diseases that present to the ED. I also have their quick pocket reference and I love those too. Only thing I would change is make the writing a but bigger. As one gets older it's hard to see
