Sebastien Christophe Chablis Vielles Vignes - 2023
Mineral, Metal, Stony, Dense, Ocean Spray, Dried Citrus Peel, White Fruit Flesh. The grapes are picked by hand, pressed, settled in tank overnight, then racked off the heavy sediments after one day before beginning its low temperature fermentation. The spontaneous wild yeast fermentation lasts between 1-2 months and takes place in stainless steel (85-90%) and 228-liter oak barrels (10-15% in 5-6 year-old wood).
Craggy Range Hawke's Bay Chardonnay - 2024
Aromas of fleshy peaches and crisp pears with fresh citrus notes of lemon and mandarin, lay amongst hints of blossom, thistle and subtle oak sweetness. These aromas carry to the palate where they are harmonised by the delicious salinty, chalky texture and fresh acidity distinctive of its coastal site. This wine pairs perfectly with seafood, fresh pasta and summery salads.
Raats Jasper Red - 2023
Exceptionally intense and complex on the nose with blackberry, black cherry and bramble in abundance and subtle hints of forest floor, dark chocolate, aniseed and spicy tobacco. The walk in the Black Forest continues with blue and blackberry dancing on a tight rope with focus and concentration, following through onto a perfectly balanced, fine-grained, velvety palate. The finish lingers with hints of fresh mint, cinnamon and perfume. Complex and structured.
Julien Sunier Fleurie - 2023
Julien Sunier vinified alongside pioneers of top-notch Gamay (Chauvet, Métras, Lapierre and Foillard) before starting his own business. A follower of organic and natural wines, he likes to remind us that "wine is the memory of grapes" and that we must therefore take care of the soil. This cuvée is a case in point, with obvious fruitiness in a digestible and authentic style. Thirst-quenching Gamay!
Cigliano di Sopra Chianti Classico - 2024
Sweet and floral scents, in addition to notes of dark forest fruit, pomegranate and tart cherry. Tannin and acidity support and relaunch a drink that runs off with great lightness. Territory that lends elegance to the Sangiovese, a true trademark of Cigliano di Sopra.
