خان زادہ چودھویں صدی نصف آخر سے سترھویں صدی کے نصف اول تک کے ان جانبازوں کی داستان ہے، جنھوں نے نہ صرف مقامی اشرافیہ کے طور پر بھی اپنی جداگانہ حیثیت کو برقرار رکھنے کی کوشش کی بلکہ اپنی عزت نفس اور مادر وطن سے شدید محبت اور اس کے تحفظ کے لیے اپنی جانوں کا نذرانہ پیش کیا۔ بہادر ناہر یعنی ناہر خان یا بہادر خان میوات کی تاریخ کا ایک ایسا باب ہے جہاں سے خان زادہ کا سلسلہ تاریخ ہوتا ہے۔ اُسے عہد سلطنت میں خان زادہ کا خطاب دیا گیا۔ امیر تیمور کے حملے کے بعد وتی کی سیاست پر پوری طرح اثر انداز ہوا۔ بہادر ناہر کے بعد اقلیم خان ، جلال خان، احمد خان ، علاول خان اور حسن خان میواتی نے بھی اسی روایت کو آگے لے جاتے ہوئے وتی کے شاہی حلقے میں خان زادوں کی سیاسی اور سماجی حیثیت کا دبدبہ قائم رکھا۔ حسن خان میواتی نے رانا سانگا اور اس کے ہم نواؤں کے ساتھ مل کر باہر کے خلاف خانوہ کی جنگ بھی لڑی۔ آج بھی اس خطے کے لوگ حسن خاں میواتی کو ایک بہادر جنگجو کے طور پر یاد کرتے ہیں۔ خان زادوں کی داستان کے ساتھ اس دور کے تعلق ، سادات ، لودھی ، افغانوں اور مغلوں کے تاریخی واقعات بھی اس ناول کا حصہ ہونا عین فطری ہے۔
آج بھی ملک کے ہزاروں چھوٹے بڑے قصبوں ، موضعوں اور مضافات میں مسلم تہذیب و ثقافت اپنی تمام تر جلوہ سامانیوں کے ساتھ نہ صرف زندہ ہے بلکہ یہاں کے مسلمان مختلف مراحل پر اپنے تہذیبی رویوں کے تحفظ کے لیے حکومت کے ساتھ برسر پیکار بھی رہے ہیں۔ مگر افسوس ہماری تہذیب کے متعلق کوئی قابل ذکر افسانوی ادب ہمار نے سامنے نہیں ہے۔ اور شاید اردو زبان کی محرومیوں کی فہرست میں سرفہرست اردو کا زندگی کے بجائے ادب تک محدود ہو کر رہ جاتا ہے۔

Great Quality

My son gave a one day notice that he was attending the prom so I frantically searched for something nice to wear. I did not know what size to get because his measurements do not match the measurements provided by the seller. He is 5’6” and weighs 154. He has a thicker build. After reading several reviews my husband and I decided on size small, however, Amazon told me I should get size medium. I should have chosen size small because this medium is a little too big by probably an inch and a half in both the front and back. We did not have time to alter the jacket, but fortunately, it still fit well.
I am so grateful for Amazon Prime overnight shipping. I also bought his shirt, tie, shoes, and mask from Amazon. The jacket arrived folded in a little zip bag. I was surprised that it wasn’t wrinkled; it only had a few creases that needed to be ironed/steamed out. The jacket is excellent quality and looks the same as the advertised photos. I am very pleased with this last minute desperate purchase!

Suprisingly good quality and a great looking jacket
I have been searching for a ring master jacket for a circus themed gala where I will be the Auctioneer/Ring Master. All the other jackets I looked at were either cheap costume stuff or just looked a little too much military Hussar style with all of the added gold tassels. This has just the right class and definitely the right look. I was worried it would fit weird or just not be constructed well but I could not be any happier with this jacket- the sleeves are a perfect length when my arms hang at my side, as is the high waist cut and the length of the tails are also just right- and best of all the sequins really shine.
I spent my career in the circus and the performing arts and this would have been more than acceptable on stage for someone to wear as a ring master or to look fancy and sparkly, assuming nobody will be standing on your shoulders and popping off your sequins. It is comfortable to wear, although I would not say it allows for full range of motion relative to a costume I would have actually worn in a circus while doing acrobatics. But that would be a totally hand made costume with flexible material and 4-10x the price.
Overall it cannot be beat for your average wearer!

Well Made, Runs A Little Small
I bought this on short notice for a drag show. I wasn't expecting a whole lot, but it exceeded my expectations in a lot of ways. The interior feels like the inside of a standard suit coat, and is comfortable for long term wear. The sequins are sewn on in a pattern, and there's little, if any, fallout. I've only found a couple sequins on the floor.
I've used it a lot since the drag show, for a lot of things (live streams, videos, etc). Absolutely worth the price, and I've already gotten my money's worth out of it.
It does run a little small, but it still mostly fits according to the size chart.
A few notes:
- It doesn't have button holes, so if you're looking for something that buttons up, look elsewhere.
- Washing instructions say to machine wash cool, warm iron (do not tumble dry, do not dry clean). I'd say run it on the gentlest cycle you can muster, or just spot clean stains and the pits (if you're sweaty). I don't know how well this thing would survive a wash, but I haven't needed to wash it yet.
