Piper-Heidsieck Essentiel by Wright Brothers is an exceptional quality Extra Brut especially created to compliment our seafood offering. It pairs perfectly with oysters and shellfish but also has the complexity to be enjoyed with white fish and buttery, creamy sauces.

The pale gold wine is crisp and refreshing with a nose of acacia flowers, pear, toast and lemon zest. On the palate, it is fresh and mineral driven with flavours of pink grapefruit. A delicious wine to be enjoyed with friends for any occasion.

Essentiel by Wright Brothers is a blend of 44% Pinot Noir, 34% Meunier and 22% Chardonnay aged for 4 years before release. Reserve wines comprise 27% of the blend giving complexity and creamy texture to the wine. Following disgorgement and blind tastings, Wright Brothers chose the liqueur d’expedition and a 6gr/l dosage (Extra Brut), with Pinot Noir Ammbonay and some wine from Piper-Heidsieck réserve perpetuelle (solera).

The collaboration between Wright Brothers and Piper-Heidsieck, one of Les Grande Marques Champagne houses, is the first in the UK and has result in an exquisite champagne which we look forward to sharing with you.
