This model includes Automatic Temperature Correction and displays readings on both Brix and Specific Gravity scales. It's ideal for assessing sugar levels in grapes, fruits, juices, and wort. Widely used in all-grain brewing, it helps verify pre-boil gravity to avoid unnecessary additions of dry malt extract. Because alcohol alters refractive properties, this refractometer is suitable only for unfermented wort or must; final gravity must be calculated or determined with a hydrometer.
Kit includes refractometer, hard case, tiny calibration screwdriver, and pipette for drawing samples.
