Jord - the Swedish word for soil - is that which, through the bonds of debt and inheritance, links us in the chain of time to the past to those who came before and those who will come after us. The soil which fed us is also the earth in which we will be interred and we are hereby invited to see the funeral pyres as Panphage is laid to rest in the soil of the fathers. Toiling in the underground for over a decade before his first full-length, 2015's Storm, sole musician Fjällbrandt, much like Jord - the giantess and mother of the god of thunder - gave birth to lightning and took the black metal world quite literally... by storm. Now on his third and final album, Jord, an ode to heritage and to the death and rebirth of earth, Panphage continues his meditations on Swedish folk songs which came before him - black metal which feels as ancient as the stories which fuel it. Still as furious as ever, but wiser now, Fjällbrandt's force continues to focus; a hidden enormity driving through the blistering snow and cracked earth which shaped his art. Much like Jord before him, Panphage's now returns to the shadows beneath, letting his own lightning son extend into eternity.

Thank You for this Incredible Book!

I am 19 and I am "unofficially" engaged. I know that he and I will most certainly without a doubt be getting married. We have known each other since we were 5 and 6 years old and have built a friendship with God at the center. We are trying our hardest to do things that right way considering we have both come from very (for lack of a better word) dysfunctional house holds. Both of my parents being on their third marriages each and his finally coming back to The Lord after many years of living in the world, haven't always been the best examples for us to learn from. We know exactly how we don't want to lead a marriage but we were not sure exactly how go about leading a proper or Godly marriage. This book, which I accidentally stumbled upon a few weeks ago, has been a serious eye opener and a total reality check. Though I will admit we were in the "tingles" stage, as Dr. Gary Chapman puts it, we have always tried to stay realistic. "Things I Wish I'd Known Before We Got Married" has truly taught us a lot of valuable lessons and I know we will keep the things we have learned from this book close at hand in the coming years.
We thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, but what really made it interesting and kept us flipping the pages were the little anecdotes that were shared about other couples. Listening or reading their experiences really helped us relate to the situations that were being explained. We also liked the "Talking it Over" segments at the end of each chapter. Those we extremely useful when it came to understanding all the information that was just handed to us in the previous reading.
I can not stop telling people about this book. I already have my sister and her husband reading it and it has greatly improved their relationship now after almost 4 months of marriage. I have also recommended it to each of my parents and my fiancé's parents as well because I know they could greatly benefit from it as I did.

Winner, Winner! say My Three Dogs
Size: 3.8 Ounce (Pack of 1), Style: Sweet Potato, Ring
I'm always looking for different treats for my three dogs (10, 20 and 30 pounds, I don't ever recall giving my dogs anything with a pumpkin flavor, so I decided to trythese i-paw pumpkin flavored treats (I got the rings). All three of my dogs took the treat immediately and went off into their separate corners to chew away (one of my dogs is pretty fussy, so I was surprised she took it without hesitation). I'm no expert in dog treat ingredients, but I didn't see anything on the ingredients list that looked objectionable. While advertised as a rawhyde replacement, these rings don't last anywhere near as long as a rawhide, so while my dogs didn't wolf them down as fast as a conventional treat, they weren't left occupied for the half hour that a rawhide of this size might have kept them entertained (except for one of my dogs, who took an hour to finish hers, but she only has 7 teeth left in her mouth, so that's not really a fair comparison). I wouldn't hesitate to order these treats again for my pups.
