As it turned out 1966 was my best year for seeing so many jazz greats. Sometime in 1967 I purchased a Pentax Spotmatic, my first SLR. The first pictures I ever took of jazz musicians were with this cameraÑcapturing Dexter Gordon and Johnny Griffin at the Cafe Montmartre in Copenhagen, Denmark."--Lee Santa
