The other caretakers? A butler who insists on wearing a cape and an Irishwoman who thinks it is perfectly reasonable to throw rocks at tourists.
Still, it could be worse. The grumpy bartender at the town pub is very nice to look at, and the job is temporary. I can handle a little weird for a few months.
It turns out, however, that it isn’t just a house. And I can’t just leave. Not after I find out what is hidden there.
In the end, it is the strange crew and grumpy alpha that are all that stand between me…and a life I never could’ve imagined.
