"In the first nineteen months of European war, from September 1939 to March of 1941, the island nation of Britain and her allies lost, to U-boat, air, and sea attack, to mines and maritime disaster, one thousand five hundred and ninety-six merchant vessels. It was the job of the Intelligence Division of the Royal Navy to stop it, and so, on the last day of April 1941 . . ."

May 1941. At four in the morning, a rust-streaked tramp freighter steams up the Tagus River to dock at the port of Lisbon. She is the Santa Rosa, she flies the flag of neutral Spain and is in Lisbon to load cork oak, tinned sardines, and drums of cooking oil bound for the Baltic port of Malm .

But she is not the Santa Rosa. She is the Noordendam, a Dutch freighter. Under the command of Captain Eric DeHaan, she sails for the Intelligence Division of the British Royal Navy, and she will load detection equipment for a clandestine operation on the Swedish coast-a secret mission, a dark voyage.
A desperate voyage. One more battle in the spy wars that rage through the back alleys of the ports, from elegant hotels to abandoned piers, in lonely desert outposts, and in the souks and caf s of North Africa. A battle for survival, as the merchant ships die at sea and Britain-the last opposition to Nazi German-slowly begins to starve.

A voyage of flight, a voyage of fugitives-for every soul aboard the Noordendam. The Polish engineer, the Greek stowaway, the Jewish medical officer, the British spy, the Spaniards who fought Franco, the Germans who fought Hitler, the Dutch crew itself. There is no place for them in occupied France; they cannot go home.

From Alan Furst-whom The New York Times calls America's preeminent spy novelist-here is an epic tale of war and espionage, of spies and fugitives, of love in secret hotel rooms, of courage in the face of impossible odds. Dark Voyage is taut with suspense and pounding with battle scenes; it is authentic, powerful, and brilliant.

Better than expected!
I initially got these for the look, but they turned out to be pretty solid sunglasses in thr end. They're comfortable, functional and durable, and I'm always getting compliments on them

very large, but otherwise perfect
Color: Black
Was looking for glacier sunglasses, at a reasonable price, and polarized. I found these and bought 4 pairs, one for each family member, for an upcoming trip. Glass look great! They are lightweight, polarized and have the side shields we needed. But, they are huge! All four must be returned. They don't fit any of us. It's a shame...they are perfect, besides the size. But glacier glasses must fit snugly to the face and these are far, far from our skin.

The Best Sunglasses
Color: Black
I was hesitant to purchase these at first. I'm so glad I did, though. They are light-weight, comfortable, and super stylish. I work in the desert, so the side guards are very helpful in keeping the sand and dust out (not entirely, but they help). I will absolutely purchase again.

Best battery bank I have used so far
Color: Black, Color: Black
Omg I love this thing. Ordered one from Anker and it took a few days to get to me. Loved it so much I ordered two more from Amazon due to shipping speed. I also own the larger version of this with the retractable cable and kept it as my primary battery Bank. The device is small enough to easily fit and comfortably hold in my pocket. It's super fast charges my phone with its retractable cable which is insanely useful. The digital display on it is perfectly designed. I currently use three devices consistently throughout my entire day that require recharging. This battery bank is insanely useful. The difference between this bank and the others comes down to a few things. Really good brand name as Anker has made some really good products over the years. The retractable usb-c cable is absolutely a game changer. The 10,000 mah battery can charge my phone twice before needing to recharged. It's a small cube and for me I can easily just throw it in my pocket or if somebody was to add a metal clip they could just clip it to their clothes and forget about it. I travel a lot so you have no idea how awesome it is to have a device die and simply just plug it in to the bank and continue walking without having to find a power outlet. If I could suggest anything he would be for the brand to conclude a clip that we can use so I could clip it to my backpack. Well that's it

Great overall charger, retractable USB-C huge benefit.
Color: Green
This charger works great. Charges my S22 fast, able to charge multiple devices at once and can even recharge while charging a device at the same time. I like the screen and info it shows including the % charge remaining, input and output wastage, and battery cycles. The retractable USB-C is a huge benefit so you don't have to carry a separate cord around. Also being able to recharge with the same built in USB-C huge benefit. Have not dropped it but would be a bit worried I would damage the screen if I did but overall has very compact and durable feel to it.
